Chaponda is a big liar, MCP never practised nepotism, no one can give details that can support that delude. The fact is that during MCP time there was dictatorship and atrocities were orders of the day. It was only John Tembo who developed the mentality of nepotism by taking advantage of Banda’s age and coaxed him to introduce quota system but it failed to take stand due to the court ruling and luck of political will because if Banda really believed that it was right he court overstep the court ruling. APM errored to chose Chaponda as leader of house, serious he doesnt have leadership skills, try somebody who can lead the house please, his statements are all to gain political mileage but its not working for him and Dpp. Tsiku lofa nyani mitengo imatelela. The fact that MCP practised nepotism at one point doesnt make DPP right to be doing the same in 21st century. MCP is better off now because 99% are new blood /members and those people who were doing that in mcp are now in DPP % UDF.
