It is only those people living in real Rumphi that are appreciating the developments taking place in Rumphi and those who left Rumphi as town mongers are those that are not appreciating. That is where DPP will claim landslide victory because it values the grassroots. That’s exactly what other reputable oragnisations like World Bank,IMF,ADB etc are saying that Malawi is top world 10 moving towards success.Even Chilima was bruised by HARDTALK Anchor Zainab Badawi for proving Chilima’s ignorance about this, when he claimed to know Malawi.Jappie is honestly the hardworking DPP Government Minister and can easily outdo for MP.

Ntumbuka Weni Weni-Wapachitimba

Does this dude called Jappie knows that some of us are from Rumphi too

Ine ndi mchewa koma ngati pali anthu ambiri ozindikira pa ndale ndiye ndi atumbuka. Jappie don’t think you can fool those people the way lomwes are taken. Reverse that policy then DPP will triumph otherwise MCP and UTM and may be PP in Nkhatabay will share most of the seats. You can afford to sent your children to overseas universities together with Goodall, Grace Chiumia and… Read more »

AM from Nothern region since malawi attained its independence, the region has been sidelined when it comes to development, with the introduction of animal so called quota system is crippling the quality of education in malawi and dpp should not fool people by providing the temporal building to manipulate the voters and to gain ground on grassroot level as the sole provider of these developments.

Land of foundation stones. Where are the foundation stones for roads which were constructed during HKB. Every small project these days has a foundation stone really?

He is making a point based on what Jappie is saying. Go to Rumphi and see for yourself if any tangible progress has been made on the said projects. Foundations stones are meant to hoodwink people of Rumphi into believing the DPP government is doing something. It is an open secret that DPP favours the South especially Lhomwe built in matters to do with development and employment. Look at the road network connecting Zomba, Phalombe, Chiradzulu and Mulanje. Now look at the Rumphi-Chitipa road, a very important road that pass through the Nyika National Park. Any sane Malawian will be… Read more »
