It is really a national tragedy to see once a world-class pack of wonderful trees which were an envy not only of Malawi,but also throughout the planet.One white tourist who sat besides me from Mzuzu to Lilongwe in 2014,had high praise for wonderful trees and likened them to trees back to his homeland of Norway.Frankly,this is not an accident,it is an impulsive act of deliberate crime by government surrogates to deliver a blow to the Northerners and annihilate whatever remains in the North.Recently,when President Muthalika was addressing people in Mzimba,was astonishingly amazed to see trees in Chikangawa areas were brutally… Read more »

The trees in the picture do not show fire destruction. This is uncontrolled cutting. See we can’t even present issues correctly

To imagine that this used to be a source of pride to the nation before stupidity took over our country. Even the so called educated have no answer for this foolishness. So the Chihanas, Kamlepos, Muluzi, Aleke and others were fighting to bring this miss management to a country that was on a right path to development.
