Y design, politicians are all liars except a few of them who ordinarily don’t survive in the game because they tend to tell the truth. Nature of politics does not lend itself to self sacrifice without looking at self grand prize. Politicians spend a lot of money for a successful campaign and they certainly need to get their return on investment by abusing their positions once elected. Indeed this man called Chilima is a liar I have never seen or heard. How can he disassociate himself from the government he is the Vice President , to say that DPP promised International airport and hotel, when he was part of it. Is this person to be trusted? On my God, this is likened to Judas Escariot who betrayed Jesus the Saviour, the very son of God. We all know that the hotel the people of Mangochi rejected it when Mota wanted to build it. Those who trust him , feel sorry with them.

Government is not an employer. It can only create a conducive environment for businesses to prosper. Creating a million jobs needs consumers first. We need to create a demand for goods which is a tall order. We can build all the factories in the world but at the end of the day the question is how profitable are they going to be. An example is to take our locally produced goods and compare the quality and price with similar goods from neighboring countries. We are talking as if we dont have factories producing stuff.
