As Malawians we do not know Chilima yet because he is too much hiding behind APM and the DPP part. As one of the comments has said the guy is too afraid of making any political move. He has no political agenda of his own. He has nothing that he believes for himself. We have political leaders like Julius Malema in SA who everyone knows their line of thought. Let Chilima not allow fools like Callista to make him lose the VP position. Starting one`s own party is not a joke. The same people encouraging Chilima will be laughing at him once he has lost such a lucrative position.

Well, those who are asking, Chilima will not lose his VP position constitutionally but politically. That is significant because he will not be able to function the same way he is functioning now. He will be a figurehead VP. It will mean he will have to either start his own party or join another party. Ask Joyce Banda, Cassim Chilumpha and Justin Malewezi how it worked for them. They all ended up being the losers because they ill-timed their presidential ambitions.
