If he had resigned we wouldn’t have known of the depth of thieving that is happening in the Malawi government. He spoke of the 145mil, APM admitted by giving back, he spoke of the fuel syphoning at ESCOM, the officials even added more litres to what he had mentioned as being stolen, now we have this 270mil by Mulli, what more is there that we don’t know about? He is our eyes.!! so then we can make informed decisions come 2019
Truth of the matter is that Chilima was nothing he was taken on board as VP. He was just a cell phone company Chief Executive. He knows by resigning he has no job and no power, he would be the nobody he was before. You cannot serve a government that you claim is corrupt and failing Malawi. Some people seek greatness others have greatness thrust upon them. Seek to be great Chilima by standing on your own!
I don’t think Chilima can resign .I mean am sure he wants to , but for what ? The moment he resigns he is going to forfeit his retirement package which is for life .Running for presidency is a big gamble , he’ll either win or lose . For him to be made president or not is entirely up to us voters.
