Chilima, is talking of free malaria drugs for both public and private hospitals. If private hospitals have free malaria drugs, then people will find it hard to steal since there will be no market. Those in public hospitals do still and sell private hospitals
At least give Chili a some credit for reviving the hopes of Malawian which we long lost. At least he’s inspirational and youthful. Not in private hospitals achimwene, people steal the free drugs from government and sell them to private hospitals. Thats what he wants to stop. These should be free everywhere, by law.

About free ant-Malarial drugs the UTM leader was talking about in reference to ARVs, the point he was trying to communicate was that ARVs are free both in private and government health facilities as such there is not market for these drugs in an event that someone has stolen them and wants to sell. This in principle, has to a larger extent prevented theft of ARVs. He has been 4 years as vice President assigned to lay reforms and he never proposed this on Malaria Drug. He is now talking about it because he wants to be president. What other demands is he going to make for him to the most suitable. Maybe extra……meat and more wives?!!…….!
