Nyasatimes this is being naive! Quote:
“national stadium is a modern facility that was designed by experts at Beijing Institute of Architects in China with input from Malawian experts.”

This Stadium is a replica of national stadium is Zambia called Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola which opened on 12th June 2012.

What design input did the Malawi experts put in?

I don’t know why this stadium was named after BIngu. Mbava thereto. Chimunthu chatsakho chimene chinasamutsa stadium kuti ikamangidwe ku Blantyre or Ndata/Thyolo just as he did with the university. Mwayi ndi imfa and Amayi saw wisdom of taking back the stadium to Lilongwe. Bola munakayitchula neutral name or LA Joyce Banda , politics aside
