IF THERE IS A GOVERNMENT AGENCY WHICH ABUSES VEHICLES ITS THE POLICE AND THE PRISON SERVICE. THEY ARE ALSO VERY POOR AT SERVICING THEIR CARS. YOU WILL NOT THAT SERVICING OF THEIR VEHICLES IS DONE AT ROAD SIDE GARAGES SUCH AS NDIRANDE AT OTHER UNFIT GARAGES ALONG THE MAIN ROAD IN NTCHEU. ZIKABWERA ZANYAWANI YOU WILL SEE EACH POLCE OFFICE HIKING ONE TO GO TO MUNDA KU BANK AND OTHER TRIVIA TRIPS. IF YOU ARE VERY KEEN SIPAPITA ONE WEK BEFORE VEHICLES HAVE OVERTURNED OR BASHED. SHAME INDEED

China is good partner for the Mutharika dynasty because they have not required transparency and accountability in the use of donated funds. Are the Chinese giving K17 billion, and demanding a K10 billion back of the same, as a thank you for really donating K7 billion? The problem with the majority of Malawians is that Banda’s brutality had played a devastating role into the minds of our people that led them not to distinguish between bad and good.I have never supported Banda in my life time, but when it came to the choice of making friends,he did a progressive choice to pickup Taiwan instead of main land China. Some 30 or 40 years ago, when Chinese economy started to grow and eventually became one of the strongest economies in the world, the first casualties of its economic upsurge, were African Countries who were thirsty of cash to run their economies, when our… Read more »

Being someone who has stayed in China. I can say that China also has its own challenges. But it chooses to help Malawi in alleviating extreme poverty while handling their own challenges. Their country has developed out of hardwork and sacrifice and we are benefiting from such thing. Its high time we learn from their experience and utilise the aid in creating self reliance.

If we can have ten Malawians like Telling the truth and Charter, then I deduce that our country has a bright future for our children, their grandchildren and the generations to follow. The fact remains that the so- called LOOK EAST POLICY will never benefit our country, instead,it is truely vice- versa.China is in Africa to pillage its gargantuan God given resources to feed its 2 billion people more than by far, live under most depressive poverty.May I remind my fellow Malawians that they must not be hood- winked that China’s economy is stronger than that of the USA or EU.Afterall,Chinese currency ( Yuan) is… Read more »
