BUILDING HOTELS ROADS OR WHATSOEVER IS NOT AS IMPORTANT AS BRINGING CASH INTO PEOPLES HOME. ENOUGH CASH TO SPEND NOT JUST ON FOODS BUT ALSO ON LUXURIES SUCH AS THE HOTELS YOU ARE BUILDING. AS ITS MUST FOR THEM TO BE AT LEAST 75% BOOKED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR IF SUCH PROJECTS ARE TO BE WORTH THEIR INVESTMENT.
THIS IS ALL POSSIBLE ONLY IF PEOPLE HAVE CASH TO SPEND….FIRST AND FOREMOST LET PEOPLE GET ENOUGH MONEY THEN EVERYTHING WILL FLOW SMOOTHLY
we need such kind of development and construct roads of good standards like four lane even six lane as well we so behind in SADC region
MY OPINION is ..I do not think this is the right place for this building.. unfortunately this country has been sold to the highest bidder that can fatten politicians pockets i.e. Asians and Chinese.
Malawians are third priority in their own country. They are not given a chance… (Ask those with money or capacity to borrow for big investments).
Word of advice to all Malawians let us support each other , fight for better things not mediocrity and wish each other well to reclaim our country.
Malawi is a pathetic country. So the whole president is busy legitimising thievery orchestrated by these chinese. What tangible thing does Malawi benefit from these chinese investors? Their taxes are never clearly seen and even employment which is being touted here is neither here nor there. Segocoa Lilongwe even has a chinese DJ. If Malawians are employed its just waiters, cleaners and potters. Its time that Malawians wake up from this deep slumber which is being facilitated by our so-called president. Keep selling your land and country to the Chinese in the name of development………you shall regret this in the near future. Why is it so easy for foreign investors to get such big land in our cities for less money while Malawian citizens have to wait for decades to acquire even a small plot to build a house? Why does our stupid govt and it’s corrupt officers give first priority to foreigners than to its own people? Malawians do not really know the Chinese. The Chinese are causing trouble in Malawi. They pay too low salaries. They do not have human resources department. They do not follow the employment act and they are untouchables. We better be careful with the Chinese. They do not have the welfare of Malawians in their hearts just like Indians. I would not work for the Chinese.The Japanese are far much better than Chinese. Peter Muthalika id very desperate.
