China is benefiting alot from Africa, Malawi. I like UK when they win a project in Africa they leave skills. By law when a foreign country wins a big project in Malawi they must create opportunities of jobs to the citizens. But Chinese brings their own people from China and if they employ the citizens they pay them low wages.
When the Group Five contractors were building the Kang’ombe house they recruited a lots of sub contractors and Malawians . . It is up to us to open our eyes. Dzuka Malawi Dzuka! Why not sort out the electricity.

China is keen on benefiting from governments in Africa who like their ancestors do not think of the future. Slave trade was initiated because of the docile mentality of Africans. Christianity and Islam followed suit and Africans through weaknees of mind and soul soon ditched their faiths for new religions and Colonialism followed. Chinese is building an empire in Africa. Who is benefiting Africans? No. The Chinese are exporting unskilled labour to build most of the infranstructure that they are building where is African labour. Lets be optimistic or not, if we look into African countries, Malawi is one of the poorest in all what we see in others. Infrastructure developments, education, entertainment, business, agriculture, security and health we can name as more as we can, but lets ask when Malawi got independent and what has named Malawi as a standalone region? We see only negativity. Let China does the work thats what I prefer but in condition with what both governments can agree with.
