Bullets General Secretary Harold Fote said they would travel by road as cost cut-measure for the team after consultations with Fomboni who will also use the same route for the away game in two weeks time.

Nyasa Times that they team through Malawi’s Northern Region capital Mzuzu in the morning to Dar-es-Salaam.

“We will travel to Mzuzu to Tanzania by bus and expected to arrive in Dar-es-Salaam on Monday.

“From there we will fly out to Comoros which is a cost-effective measure,” Fote said.

Fote said there was no cause for alarm on the team’s fatigue because of travelling 2000 km of the journey by road.

“We Will have about three full days of rest therefore fatigue is out of question. It is shirt flight from Tanzania to Comoros.”

Outspoken club captain Fischer Kondowe said all the players were prepared for the showdown.

“We have received assistance from various individuals and companies. That has motivated us to do well so that we should not let down the people  who have shown confidence in us. We will fight till the last drop our blood,’ he said.

Bullets have made the longer part of the journey to save money after it failed to raise K30 million required to make the trip by air from Malawi.

Malawi’s top league sponsors TNM made an 11th hour rescue after offering K15 million as advance payment for the TNM SMS Promotion launched for the club in the next four weeks.

Bullets have left with two major signings striker Chiukepo Msowoya and goalkeeper Owen Chaima who was returned to the club after a season the Epac United.

Former Flames peripheral striker Jimmy Zakazaka opted out of the trip after disagreements over his contract.
