This lady has shown remorse and paid back at least some of her lout; so let her be given a lenient sentence. But she must reveal those who inducted her into stealing. There must be others, probably even in higher position.

Malawians are facing a financial crisis of life threating proportions. Some donor funding has been withdrawn because of cashgate. People are going to starve, others are going to die due to lack of medicines in our hospitals. The cashgate perps have taken this country backwards. I have considered the cashgate issue and have made my own conclusion that those who were involved in this undesirable act aren’t different from any of us who are engaged in various malpractices and are not yet caught! Let me remind everyone that a sin is a sin no matter its intensity in the eyes of man, God will judge us accordingly, therefore let us refrain from making silly comments because we are equally wrong doers, leave everything to God, He has the final authority to judge all of us. Lord have mercy.
