The council is right. It’s not easy to keep the tough green and in good condition. TN stars must train either at Kasungu TTC or Kavunguti. This will make the ground to have a good tough.

The Council takes its share from gate collections, really? Pa gate pamachokera ndalama zingati? Can you compare 25% ya gate collection taking to what the Council uses to make the pitch green> Its not easy. Govt constructed stadia in every district yes, but responsibility to take a good care of the pitch rests with the local council. They need to set conditions, it happens everywhere in Malawi. Fans deserve nice and beautiful stadia. Ma football club chimene amadziwa ndi kumenya mpira n’kumapita adzabweranso kukakhala training or game basi, they don’t care who should manage the pitch.

Inu go to Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester, all these teams have their special training grounds. That’s why we encourage you to travel, osamangong’ung’udza zilizonse apa. The council is not wrong at all, anthu ozindikila kwambili. The home team can only train on the turf when making final techcalities, a day or two days before the game. Chapwa

The council should have a rate for stadium usage for training and other functions. Barring the team (TN Stars) doesn’t sound good.

this does not make sense at all, what if TN stars decide not to host matches there? will the council get revenue? the answer is NO.
