There were four in the Garden of Eden: the Lord God, Adam, Eve, and the serpent. Jesus came to bring the promise of salvation to Adam and Eve, but not to the serpent to whom the Lord God had said: “Cursed are you above all . . . .”

Among us, there are many serpents in human form who do all they can to tempt us from the narrow path. For such serpents, there will be no forgiveness, but only a crushing of heads, unless they repent and are born again.
