“The law will be operational very soon after the consultations with the Malawi Human Rights [Commission] – are over,” said Dausi – and he might have added: “Of course, we shall ensure that these consultations are prolonged indefinitely.”

He asks for patience; we ask for action. As usual, he will get what he wants, and we will not get what we want.
