Unidentified dead body was found on Wednesday morning near Nkolokoti primary  in Machinjiri, Blantyre.

The body has no eyes, nose and his skin on the face has been removed.

When Nyasa Times visited the scene there were thousands of people who were shocked.

However, there were no blood at the scene and his clothes too were clean

Police have not identified the middle aged man but said dis body is due to be sent for a postmortem.

Meanwhile, in another development, Police in tea growing district of Mulanje have arrested a 19-years-old,
Ganizani Kanjaula for allegedly stabbing his friend to death over a mobile phone.

Kanjaula who hails from Nande village, T/A Mabuka in the district committed the offence on 4th January, 2016, police confirmed.

Mulanje police Public Relations Officer, Gresham Ngwira told Nyasa Times that Kanjaula stabbed his friend Evance Jonathan, 31, on the night of Monday 4th January.

”At around 7pm, the suspect met his friend who was coming from his father’s house. The deceased had a phone with a torch light on. Seeing this, the suspect started accusing his friend as to why he was flashing him in the eyes,” explained Ngwira.

Consequently, Ganizani is said to have pulled a knife and stabbed his friend in the stomach.

The victim was taken to Mulanje District Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

”Postmoterm results show that death was due to spleen rapture. We started looking for the suspect and we managed to arrest him,” added Ngwira.

Ganizani has been charged with murder contrary to Section 209 of the Penal Code.

At times one could bet that the rapture took place already, which means we are living in time of tribulation. This is beyond one’s imagination. Imagine the family of the culprit of this barbaric act are just ignorantly sharing the same house or bed with such a wild animal, calling him husband, dad, uncle or son.

Oh Lord have mercy!, this morning at around 06h30 as my Husband and I were driving to work, we were listening to one of the local radio station called SAFM as we normally do in order to learn of the traffic conditions ahead. Apparently in one of the main route their was a traffic jam due to a man who was seen walking around literally necked.
