How else could Munthali rate the running mates other than a higher mark for Mwenifumbo? These political experts amaze me.

Mbuli zokha basi. They showed very little knowledge about the economy, government systems and protocol. Imagine someone talking about a federal system in Malawi. Federal systems are only necessary in complex geo/political situations which are not in our country. Stripping the immunity of a president means our president will spend more time in court than in the office. We have these silly myopic CSOs that live on rubble rousing and running to the courts on frivolous issues. These runningmate debates have shown that we have no better alternative.

What does geopolitical situation mean? You are vague yourself. Bwinobwinotu? Mbuli nkukhala inunomwe.
Ethnically and geographically Malawi is a very diverse country. People from Karonga, or Mchinji culturally are very different from those from Phalombe. It’s illogical therefore that the decision how they should be governed should be made by people far away from them. Just because the other tribe is overpopulated and do not care at all about how many kids to have in their lives.

I agree the debate was too long, 2 to 3 hours with a break is sufficient although the audience was partly to blame.

Sure the audience was to blame. There were too much DPP supporters who solely participated to disturb. Shame!
