This outcome was expected but now with MDF’s decision to pull out Chilumba from Super League the play offs are just a waste of resources. If the decision to bar Chilumba is due to lack of resources then Airborn should be the first to feel the consequences because as it stands now Chilumba is already in Super League while Airborn is not. A fair decision would be for SULOM to urge MDF pullout Airborn too in order to let Wizard and Dedza make up the 15th & 16th teams.

What is missing in the ruling is that the Judge should have made the loser pay for those teams who travelled to the playoffs venues. In this case Dedza Young Soccers should have been asked to pay for bringing inconvenience to SULOM and other teams. This would have been a lesson to other would be teams to behave the way they did. After all they were afraid of being ashamed. Everyone knows that even their last games in the last league they did not perform well and did not deserve the outright place in the league.
