The counter demos that the DPP are organising will make other parties more popular than ever. They shall be bloodshed come that 7th September. It is another MZUZU scenario. And to Mchacha, this is politics one day you shall dance to the tune of others.Do you not show yourself that you are above everything with your stupid secretary Wa Jeffrey.

So in peoples wisdom everyone has freedom of expression apart from the DPP. Freedom of expression is a birthright for all, including DPP supporters.

The issue is about freedom of Assembly. What DPP has done is to organize rallies in the city of Blantyre. What other activities have been organized by other citizens of the republic is not for DPP to keep guessing. There are institutions which have been given the mandate to regulate activities of this nature. CSOs have been booking in the media instead of seeking mandate from relevant authority. The only remedy is for the CSOs to shift the date of their meaningless demonstrations where they are asking for reversal of the parliament approved Jose as IGP,among many petitions.. You should not just hand crap everything from DPP,the freedom of expression is there but this 7TH Sep is A DAY organised by CSO’s,so how can BCC grant permission to two organisation on the same date and venues? All what the the BCC has done is to create war and violence come that day.And on your point, let me just tell you this, between the two the one who is organising a useless and stupid march is DPP.Above all it will be the BCC who will be held accountable for any loss or damages may be caused at that particular day.

Poor decision making is very costly. July 20, 2011 Mzuzu scenario will not be forgotten. Taxpayers lost K3.1b as compensation to other parties and they are also claiming additional K8b on the same. This is costing the taxpayer a lot of money. Lives were lost on July 20, 2011 and compensations are yet to be paid. Now, these careless decisions by Blantyre City Council to grant DPP permission is a worrisome development. We need to be decisive on issues of national interest. Things change anytime, by God’s grace. Mr Charles Mchacha, chonde chepetsani liwiro, chonde, chonde. Kunjaku kuli Mulungu, zinthu… Read more »
