Our problem is that we try to add value to our colorful dreams through witchcraft and bitchcraft, instead of relying on the only get-richcraft that works: lifelong learning. It’s easier to dream when your eyes are shut. On the other hand, it’s much easier to identify, plan, and implement your goals if your eyes are wide open and you are well informed. Like the Americans, we have a national dream. It is our National Development Dream. (Plan! – Don’t make me laugh!) The richest 1 percent of Americans own more wealth than the bottom 90 percent. The richest 1 percent… Read more »

(1) northerners used to pass MSCE because of cheating since MANEB could not inspect the northern schools due to devilish terrain. Examiners from north used to reveal exams to their wards too hence the bogus higher pass rate. Evidence on this is plentiful. (2) When Kanyama chiume was education minister, all positions in Ministry of Education were given to mbwenumbwenus. So, selection to university was based on names and not on passing exams. (3) joice banda also used to give all contracts to simama and mbwenumbwenu shoddy contractors. At-least APM is able to give contracts to everyone…from north, central and… Read more »

if the author was analytic he would have concluded that: 1. Like all Malawi leaders, Trump is also dismissing and firing top government officials. 2. Like Malawi leaders Trump has also vowed that White House will fight the media especially CNN 3. Like Malawi leaders, Trump is issuing executive orders. In Malawi it could be understood as too much executive powers by the president. 4. Like Malawi leaders Trump is also appointing the people who supported his bid especially business gurus. 5. Like Malawi leaders, Trump is becoming arrogant and undemocratic. 6. Like Malawi leaders Trump is saying no to… Read more »

Actually the national cake is not for equal sharing, but equitable sharing. The region with higher population shall get more than one with lower population. By the end of the day, what matters is the number of Malawians reached. Lets stop talking about tribes, its barbaric. One Malawi, one nation! Leave Trump and the Americans alone. Lets do our own business.

On Quota system, you are wrong. The system is giving chance to all districts to have educated people not only one area or region. Those of you who are against the system are greedy, you don’t want other people to be educated. Even if there could be no Quota not all who pass MSCE go to college because colleges are not enough. That is why they thought of using the system. If you can’t go to public universes just go to private ones, we have a lot of them in this country.

I like Trump because he does not want to be politically correct. The problem with Malawian presidents is political correctness. The Malawian system is rotten and only a Trump-like president can correct it. Let all cashgate people surrender their assets and claim back after proving that they got them using clean money. Why should the state waste time go to court in order to get assets acquired through cashgate. Democracy is a failure.
