K40bn just for 18MW? We are not serious with development, why not constructing a coal powered plant to generate more power? We need to focus on future demands osangoti kakaka thinking of hydro power generation. We have coal deposits as well as neighbouring countries where we can export good quality coal from, like, Mozambique (moatize). For how long are we going to rely on hydro power with these weather patterns being experienced? We had good rains last rain season but still we are experiencing heavy load shedding. Is 40 billion too much to you. Have you considered that the Japanese govt is assisting by meeting the largerpotion of the cost? Dont you think hydropower is more environmental friendly than the suggested coal powered plants?? #justquestionscomingtomymind😕😕
