Actually the odds of a man named Elephant being killed by an elephant are not all that great. Most people living around the vicinity of wildlife parks have nicknames like Elephant, Lion, Rhino etc ( Ndine Njobvu amuna-muna! Ndine Mkango opanda mantha…Ndine Msato etc etc -You get the drift?) These people get these nicknames -which eventually become their de facto names – because of their daring in venturing into the parks for poaching, firewood gathering etc. Therefore the probability of a man named Elephant being killed by an elephant is quite small actually. Q.E.D.

Easy maths, Ñdendeuli! Most people who live around the vicinity of a wildlife park assume the nickname of an animal. Thus Elephant , Lion, Rhino etc. (Ndine Njobvu amuna-muna! Ndine Mkango opanda mantha! Ndine Nsato ya ululu kawawa! etc etc. ) All these nicknames become de facto names with time. Most of the time these are the guys who venture into the parks for poaching, wood-gathering etc. More deaths from wild animals occur than is reported in these communities. Long story short. Who benefits from these elephant’s, and lions. . they kill us no compasation, we pass by the game game ranger kill us or animals attack us
