By Jeden Chilikuzako, Nyasa Times

Defending champions Escom United suffered their second consecutive defeat of the season in 24 hours in what could best be described as a weekend from hell for them in their northern region outing.

On Saturday, Moyale were responsible for ending Escom’s unbeaten run in the top flight while on Sunday new boys Embangweni  delivered a  master class to inflict another defeat  to  the electricians with a 2 – 1 victory at the Mzuzu stadium.

Goals from Stuart Mbonge and Dan Lusale scored for Embangweni while Heston Munthali was on target for the electricians who are still top with 15 points from 7 games.
