Mutharika should not sign a silly MOU with SA. In fact, Mutharika shud have told the envoy that Malawians go there on their own. They are not sent by govt. If they take risks, it’s none of govt business. Malawians have been going to RSA in search of work over 100 years. It’s just that South Africans, especially Blacks are xenophobic. Even the message from the envoy is xenophobìc. The envoy can’t say that to President Mugabe.

Smart, your comment is not helpful in line with the issue at hand. Do not bring issues that are subjective. Lets inform our fellow Malawians to follow the laws of South Africa. If the high profile people you are mentioning are stealing as you allege, the solution is not to encourage people to travel to South Africa illegally. People are suffering in holding detention camps.
