Look what at Magwero somebody with money has just started his project but within a year we saw the shifting of the poles and the new connectionn with alot of poles but poor Malawians are staying for two years hearing the news of poles now and again.

I’m sorry to say ESCOM, it’s your own fault The service you give to us consumers is more then poor! Starting from power generation, less than 300 MW for less then 10% of our population, to failure in selling of prepaid kWh, because of system down sooo often, or failing to connect new customers, because of no meters… or just corruption….., stealing fuel for your generator…, I stop, its endless! Nothing can ever justify stealing. We have a duty as the upright people to do the right things. Stealing is never someone’s fault except the thief himself.

The problem is ESCOM in efficiency people applied for electricity long time ago but not connected yet.Some one year or two years but they paid connection fee.Unless Escom efficiency improved these malpractices will stop.
