For a number of years now,Malawi has been in last 10 poorest countries in the world.Shame!!! This is not accidental,but a sustained economic sabotage by Muthalika and his hungry gangs of wolves.Certainly,Malawi has impressive natural resources to turn the nation into a bread- basket of the region,but ineptitude,uncontrolled corruption,lack of transparency,nepotism and political instability are viciously hindering national economic growth despite the fact that we have one of the best Finance Ministers in the continent.The President we have or we have been having,are in the first place,deadly corrupt and above the law,they have no notion atall about economic planning.For instance,Muthalika… Read more »

At long last, this is good news. Access to legal redress is an indispensable component of a democratic system and rule of law. It it also encouraging that the financial performance benchmarks are on track to a point that some loans will begin to trickle into the Government coffers. However, there remain shocking and embarrassing instances of financial mismanagement some of which apparently, have called for refunds by the donors. This is not a government to trust with donor money. Any donor giving money to Malawi govt is doing so at owners risk because the money will certainly be stolen by govt officials.
