Ex Bwaila Secondary school students in get-together
Former students of Bwaila secondary school will Sunday, 27th November, meet at their old school campus in Lilongwe where they discuss how to organise a reunion event for the former students next year ,
Bwaila secondary will celebrate golden jubilee -50 year – next year since it was opened.
According to the organisers, the meeting will also to discuss on how they can best assist the school in areas it is struggling in.
It is also expected that an interim committee will be elected with the aim of organising the reunion and other activities
The former students will also pay a tribute of one minute silence to teachers and other students who are no longer in this world. Their names will be read out.

Bwaila secondary school has produced some prominent Malawian professionals like lawyers, accountants, politicians, engineers and others including some household names like soccer personalities Young Chimodzi, Ganizani Masiye and others.
The current deputy minister of health Ralph Juma is another product of Bwaila.
