Ex-Presidential aide Rev Billy Gama injured in car accident

Former Presidential Advisor on Religion Affairs and Moderator of Mulanje CCAP Church, Reverend Billy Gama has been injured in a road accident and is currently admitted to Mwaiwanthu Private Hospital in Blantyre.

Gama, who is also the Chaplain of Mulli Brothers Limited, sustained head injuries and was feared to have internal bleeding.

The accident occurred on Wednesday around Mikolongwe/Malowa area, along the Robert Mugabe Highway in Chiradzulu district. He was on his way to Mulanje.

According to an eye witness, the vehicle overturned twice, leaving his driver Hudson Idan with an open fracture on his right leg.

Rev Gama was reportedly rushed to Nguludi Mission Hospital where he was referred to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital in Blantyre and later transferred to Mwaiwanthu Hospital.

Meanwhile, Malawi Police are yet to come with the details.

I don’t think it’s ideal if we are Christians to start talking about someone bad things when he need prayers. If you know that he is a fornicator or whatever you may call, a genuine christian would ask God to heal the sick including those involved an accident. We Malawians are famous for being warm hearted where is this virtue in this situation where someone need our help and prayers.
