Instead of singing songs that will bring glory to our nation, promote unity of purpose and development of your country, you’re busy singing songs that will promote the decay of this nation. Did you not know that the fruits of evil is death? Do you sing songs that your parents and relatives will sit down and appreciate your wisdom or you sing just to make noise. This is the type musicians who are bringing shame on the face of our mother MALAWI. Ndiye usalire ukhaula Mphwanga. Ask before acting to avoid being dealt with.

I think an example has to be set here. Quite unfortunate for chavura it had to be him by his own actions, that song was obviously premeditated. He was conscious of what he was doing, he wasn’t drunk except on the idea if he succeeded he’d be famous and not infamous. Sitting down with this boy I’d ask him “what were your intentions.” And I accept no “I didn’t know the concept would be misunderstood.”

Let this guy exercise his freedom of speech please. If his music will not b promoted and does not sell then thats all right. Lets exercise our right not to buy products we dont like however persecuting him, talking about him and even interviewing him will satisfy his marketing program. Hope everyone realise he won because even bad publicity is good publicity

Chavura is a troubled soul. What he needs is counseling and not forgiveness

He knew pretty well wat he was doing, so asking for forgiveness doesn’t make any sense at all. That’s why I rarely listen to music from these useless rappers.

Amalawi, mkuluyu wapepesa and has shown remorse. It’s only fair that he be forgiven.
Let his competitors not take advantage of this unfortunate development.
My good friend Chavula, just learn something positive from the experience and forge ahead. Your asking for forgiveness is not directed towards man. It went straight to God. I have no doubt at all, He has forgiven you as forgiving is his nature.

Apologising doesn’t warrant stop of criminal proceedings against a criminal .
He might be a serial rapist …and end result he came out public with his sick fantasies.
He can say that in mitigation on a court of law.

Regardles of time the law is still morally forceful, causing us to make the moral decision. The notion of rape whether practical or theoretic is wrong regardless of time. And those who advocate such an act must be held accountable.
