Joyce Banda—the former president of Malawi and a longtime advocate for female representation in politics— continues to earn more respect and recognition...
CSOs in Malawi and our country is not on sale for you organisations coming from whichever and you have rebranded the name by putting Malawi at the end you want kupusisa amalawi. your days are numbered
It is a big Joke that is happening in Malawi an international organisation implementing interventions at grassroots level organising VDC, ADC etc meetings and government is busy biting local NGOs in Malawi by putting a punitive laws. Action Aid and CCM you are not helping this country. Stop this useless things you are doing in our mother Malawi.
They have started intimidating CSOs like politics, Shame to Action Aid staff who are intimidatiing the forum members. Justice will come no matter what
I hope they have facts, otherwise if an investigation is carried out and turns out to be unfounded, you will be humiliated. The allegations made are very serious and catastrophic. The Global fund may even withdraw funding Malawi as a whole…
Its better to withdraw Malawi funding than enriching few individuals
Its sad that Malawians still don’t understand how International NGOs steal from the people and just because they are foreign are supported. Action Aid has stolen a lot of money on the Global Fund. I have evidence
I love these brave patriots !!! International NGOs are the biggest abusers of resources, actually worse than government. Press them to be accountable and ensure a forensic audit is done. You will be shocked what it will reveal. And our government , please ensure you demand accountability from these “angels “ because that money is actually received on behalf of the people of Malawi. Muwayeze ndi mulingo umene amayezera anzawo
There is a misconception among the wider community that just because they are international NGOs these organizations cab cannot and do not indulge in corporate corruption and other malpractices. Things cannot be further from the truth. Because they are usually supervised remotely in terms of oversight by their sponsors / bosses (because of geographical distance, some of the so-called reputable international NGOs are the worst perpetrators of corruption. Bravo Forum for exposing this. Stand your ground. Don’t be intimidated; don’t be afraid.
