Four in U-14 Malawi squad off to to play in Namibia
Malawi Under-14 tennis squad which includes Sotuh Africa based Chisomo Lumeta leaves the country Wednesday for Namibia y to take part in the International Tennis Federation Southern Africa junior circuit championship.
Other players in the squad are Chipangano Sandukira (Under-16), Vanessa Kazunguze (under-14) and Anderson Mdala (Under-12).
The players have been training under guidance of Hackson Methiwa, according to Lawn Tennis Association of Malawi (LTAM) head coach Thompson Mtengula.
Mtengula is confident the Malawi team “will win medals.”
Both Chisomo and Sandukira have played at international level, according to Mtengula.
