According to a statement made available to Nyasa Times, “No Bad Vibes” is Gemini Major’s debut album and the celebrated artist has decided to host the first launch at home in Blantyre, Malawi.

The launch which has been organized by Rudebouy Major and Fresh 2 Def in partnership with Black Rhyno Entertainment will be spiced up by notable South African and Malawian superstars and Djs.

Supporting artists include SA’s Da L.E.S’, Yanga Chief, DJ Double D, Stunt Double as well as Malawi’s own stars Tay Grin, Theo Thomson, Sonye, Malinga Mafia, Martse, Bucci and Hayze Engola.

Accompanied by Nadia Nakai, Gemini Major headlined the 2016 UMP Festival which took place at BAT Ground in Blantyre and this was his first ever performance after leaving Malawi in 2009 to pursue a music career in South Africa where he has become a force to be reckoned with.

Gemini Major has made a name for himself for producing massive hits like “Ragga Ragga” where he features South African artists Cassper Nyovest, Riky Rick, Nadia Nakai & Major League DJz, “Lifestyle” with the Northgod, Da L.E.S, and a dozen more that have taken Africa by storm.

After parting ways with Cassper Nyovest’s Family Tree Records earlier this year, Gemini Major established his own record label Rudebouy Major, and partnered with Fresh 2 Def owned by Da L.E.S, one of the most respected hip-hop artists in South Africa.

The Robins Park show which starts at 1pm is pegged at K2000. Later in the evening, the party will go to Club 360 at K1500 general admission and K3000 VIP.
