Dr Gondwe, is it “I cannot be removed” or “I will not be removed”? One wise man of old once said, and I quote: “The graveyards are full of people who thought the world could not go on without them”. Bwana, we all know that you have done a very good job since you were place in that seat, but you have also to acknowledge that there is someone who has a final say on whether you stay on or leave. He is called His Excellency the State President. If this person says that you cannot be removed, good for… Read more »

Gondwe said he is not surprised with names being mentioned linked for his portfolio, saying some ambitions can be too dangerous. He could not elaborate.

While i agree with many observors that Hon Gondwe needs to retire, i don’t think Hon Msaka (with all due respect) is the right man to lead the push for economic transformation….. mwina if such names like Mwanamvekha were being mentioned, i would taken the issue seriously… otherwise

Some ambitions can be very dangerous indeed

economy is stable but Malawi Government have huge debts with the private sector, which is the reason for unemployment. Supplying goods and services to Malawi Government is as good as throwing things in the bin. Malawi govrnment under Goodall dont pay suppliers, can Goodall explain WHY. You say economy is good then pay all the debts government owes. This is ficticious economy

Sibweni,
Nyengo yanu yatha. You have been very outstanding in your profession, but in life nothing stays for ever. Can you accept that fresh minds are waiting on the flanks so that once you leave they can come in and probably do better than what you have achieved, I wish you a nice rest, by the way is it in Mzuzu or Lilongwe? but surely not in Blantyre
