When we complain about hunger,we sometimes focus on big causes of hunger whilst ignoring small critical causes. Whilst rains were erratic, most parts of the Central and Northern Regions in the Country had enough harvest for their consumption.Even some parts of the Southern Region except obviously the Lower Shire had harvests enough to survive. The challenge that Malawi government will always have is the vendors who buy maize for consumption for survival from the poor Farmers.
