There is no need for you to resign. You are in charge there. Those who have stollen these items are those who hate you so that they can paint your image bad. After all you are the victim because your office has been vandalised. Those who have stollen have hidden agenda, but God is your Sun and Shield. She is a cadet and accomplice not a victim. Why was the incident not reported to police and stakeholders? This woman without SHAME is busy trivialising the incident adamant she can’t resign. Yet Ansah miserably fails to give ANSWERS to basic questions. Who last was in custody of the gadget? Was it in a private vehicle/ MEC? Were hand-overs done? How did s/he lose custody? Chilungamo, you are answering some of the questions yourself. The gadget found itself from a train coming from Mozambique because the thief planned so. Remember that MEC has also members of opposition , those who tow the line of opposition and they can arrange for the disappearance of the equipment. How you ever heard the word “ connive”. I think for Malawians, being told to resign after under performing in public office is a very big problem and impossible these days.. Educated public officers in developed Countries resign from their public positions. Just to let others play their part. Don’t rush for her resignation..with the huge type of that workforce ,who knows may be it’s from the same opposition guys who robbed the machine in order to distubalising the Elections after noting that things are not working out according to their plans. If we were to follow the underlying rationale, then a head of a corporation or a government department must resign when theft is recorded in the organization. Sure, head(s) must roll but only if they are directly tied to the act, or the incompetence or disorganization that led directly to the crime. One does not have to be a lawyer to appreciate the injustices that would follow if we were to ignore this principle of direct accountability. Malawi opposition parties do not have the masses to oust the DPP guys….the only with some people is the mcp which as of now has been eaten apart by the young utm .. already mcp plays down feedle to DPP….the other with some people was pp….was because many of it’s members have tracked back to DPP following their leaders who also joined dpp e.g mpinganjira,jooma,uladi,lipenga etc….those few who remained have also joined UTM following the buzz there….so UTM is made of old mcp and pp supporters..now if DPP beat up mcp,pp and udf in 2014, following my explanation which is… Read more »
