Traditionally, roads or structures are generally named after our departed Greats. In my view the road should have been named after the sons of Nkhstabay such as Aleke, Manowa or Ching’oli and you are nowhere near qualifying as one of these. Definitely APM, from Lhomweland, is a misfit for the Mzuzu-Nkhatabay road.

When Malawians are talking of transformation, they don’t mean the construction of poor quality “highways” and main roads whose life span is no more than 3 years. When Malawians are talking of transformation they mean the following: Ethical, moral, critical thinking and problem solving political leaders at the helm of the governing party who would carry dreams and aspirations of Malawians. This is why we need to change Malawi politics to that of servant, selfless leadership as opposed to selfish and unethical type of political leadership which naturally is characterised by corruption. There are a number of countries which have achieved strong governance leadership clean of corruption and these countries are doing very well in and outside the continent.
