Why should citizens be concerned about internal party politics. These political parties have their own constitutions and policies. If we disagree with the people that are elected as party leaders then we have an opportunity to use the vote to boot them out. If Ben Phiri is imposing his cronies or booty lickers to run for MP the the constituents will determine their fate.

Ben Phiri is a bona fide Malawian and he has a right to have such ambitions. So why should it be a big issue when Ben harboured such ambitions

Ben Phiri has got a certain hold over APM himself. That’s why even APM is afraid to reprimand him. Ben Phiri knows Peter Mutharika’s deepest secrets.

If this is true, Ben Phiri is wrong and MUST stop it.

I will come back to check comments from MCP Nyakula team. Last time when their party were having these primaries MCP people were hacking and killing each other. But the comment from the MCP Nyakula area branch was that it’s not strange to see people hacking and killing each other because MCP is very popular and everyone wants to stand on it’s ticket. To them, the Nyakula area branch, this was not wrong. It just indicated that MCP is very strong.
