Seriously, the Indian community of Malawi need to get a grip… especially those who are bribing the courts. It’s no secret what this man was like. It is not a secret that corruption is rife in the Indian community & that there are many more men like the accused, but none of the women will speak out. The Malawi courts must stand up for justice, conduct a proper investigation, prove their importance, not accept any bribes & make an example of this guy because there will be more victims.

Let’s remember this guy is just a suspect. There was no proof the time I got very close to the center of the circus. There are people serving prison sentences just because they were judged based on their history not evidence on the case being accused. The problem nowadays is, you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. AM NOT SAYING HE IS INNOCENT. All we need is justice.

The death of a woman is indeed regrettable but to say the truth i’LL urge my fellow black Malawians not to intertain the Indians invitation to join them in solidarity.

We had so many incident in this country including the Matching for killing of Albinos,
I have never seen even a single Indian ( mwenyes) joining the match .
So this time around u need our support nooooooo!!!!!!!!!! ways.

You can mobilise your fellow Indians and go on your own to the street.

But let’s be brutally honest had he murdered munthu wakuda you “members of the Indian community” you would have been in solidarity with this monster.
We all know you would have bribed the police and the judge’s and helped him escape to Gujarat….and like a fairlytail princess he would have lived happily ever after.
Anyway I pray that the family shall find comfort and that justice will be served.

He is a murderer and must be sentenced to life in prison. He killed his wife who was young, and has 3 children. His trying to come out on bail, please don’t let this man out. To the people of Malawi, we need your support in making sure he does not get bail. If he does he will run away…… Justice for Zaheera, Justice for a mother, justice for daughter, justice for this young women who was brutally murdered by her husband
Nyasa times cover this story closely.

When Indians, and must say all foreigners, commit a crime in this country, and I mean any crime, they bribe their may out and stay peacefully. When the crime is really serious they are assisted to escape not only by their fellow foreigners, but by our own law enforcers. I remember one Ngosi was married to a white man and was brutally murdered in Michiru, Blantyre. The British husband was the suspect, but he was assisted to leave the country and case closed. He even took his daughters with him. So what are these Indians saying here? Do what you… Read more »

NP bail for this wicked man. Let him languish and rot in prison basi. What this man did is unheard of gruesome. People are very angry with him and if released I will be surprised with our justice system.

The brutal death of the woman is regrettable. But the appeal for support from Malawians and faith community in their grief is laughable. Amwenye are disgustingly arrogant racists. They don’t carry out their civic duties such as Voting. They don’t come to our funerals. They ignore our invitations to social events such as weddings. And today they need the companionship of Malawians? B….s..
