Malawi President Joyce Banda on Sunday attended a church service at Prophet TB Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) after her Nigerian ‘spiritual godfather’ rebutted rumours spreading around that Banda received a prophecy that she will only be president for another two years after the 2014 elections.
TB Joshua on Sunday welcomed Banda at a service held at SCOAN in Lagos, Nigeria which was beamed live on Emmanuel TV.
“We have here with us Her Excellency, the President of the Republic Of Malawi, Dr Joyce Banda, the First Gentleman Richard Banda and other family members. We welcome you in mighty name of Jesus,” said Prophet J.B Joshua the founder of SCOAN.
The official welcome remark by Joshua has come in the mid of rumours in the social media concerning Banda’s 2014 election doom prophecy.
But Scoan said the rumour are mischievous and originated from the “father, the sons and daughters of lies.”
“There are rumours spreading around that T.B. Joshua has given Malawi’s President, Joyce Banda, a prophecy about the 2014 elections and told her that she will be President for only two years. These rumours are 100 per cent false and are not from Prophet T.B. Joshua or The SCOAN,” said the church.
“Do not listen to the father of lies, the sons of lies and the daughters of lies,” it added.
Banda visits TB Joshua’a Church as how some Christians and Muslims make pilgrims to visit holy places like Jerusalem and Mecca.
The Malawi leader says she worship at Prophet TB Joshua’s temple as “a follower of God”.
