Under The Laws of the Republic of Malawi Trustees of a Trust are personally liable for any debts incurred by a Trust. So all the Trustees who so ever they are are liable and their personal property belong to them can be seized by the Baliff to recover the debt. You can verify this with any well qualified lawyer.

Was Mudzi Transformation Fund trust Joyce Banda’s or it was governments? The establishment of mudzi Tranformtion fund was passed by parliament. it was governments money which was supposed to run the project not Joyce Banda,. So it is the government that needs to be sued not JB. It is just like Malata subsidy programme. it is government’s programme introduced by DPP. it is public funds not APM’s.
