I agree with all sentiments aired here. Mayi Wakubha uyu. Under your disillusioned regime you personally accepted 22 cars bought using stolen funds. And you called thief Lootepo as wise. Pooh you foolish woman. All those Cashgate houses that mushroomed in Lilongwe while Malawi descended to the bottom of poorest countries was due to your clueless and greedy regime. Your own stupid sons were bragging among harlots that for the first time in their lives money had never been problem – stolen from government coffers. No donor now trust the government of Malawi because of your thievery. Go to hell… Read more »

What the former President says in this interview just boils my blood – Africa hot. Prayers wont fix our social or economic problems in this country. Despite naive Joisi Banda claiming so. Invoking prayers to solve one’s problems is a lazy person’s way of avoiding the hard work that is needed. Typical Joisi Banda. Malawi is one of the most religious nations on earth. And if prayers were the answer then we would not have had gone through Kamuzu harsh, brutal and criminal rule. Ditto for the wanton and open theft of public resources during Muluzi’s rule, and her own… Read more »

My former President , You have spoken well. There are some many things that we need to fix as a country. First to be fixed is our altitude, or our character .

Joyce Banda you have come back to Malawi now because there are general elections next year. And one week you have been in the country you have concluded that there is no love between Malawians? Thats an overstatement you can’t prove that we Malawians hate each other. That only happens at political levels and you want to capitalise that to your own advantage as a person who know how to LOVE. WE need to discuss the CASHGATE. As it had occurred under your watch it meant you didn’t love us and you should be answerable to that. Don’t preach of… Read more »

From what she has said which party do you disagree with? if cashgate happened under her watch does it mean she was involved? Those who have evidence they will bring it forward and we shall all know the truth.

Joyce Banda – you failed big time. You are the wrong person to advocate for change. You were given opportunity but mesed up and failed due to misguided polices and corruption. Probably you should advise Chilima that running for the presidency (on one’s own platform) is not easy.
