Is the murderer in custody or was released on bail? Paja it is common nowadays for police and justice people to receive bribes and suppress the trial by destroying evidence with time. I still remember the case of the young female medical assistant at Nkhoma hospital who was murdered in similar circumstances and her killers are still in our midst free five years later. Money exchanged hands and police destroyed the murder file.

WE ALL (men and women) need to join hands and fight gender based violence because women continue to suffer and lose their lives.

I was so disturbed with this death. Just on 18 Aug, she was there assisting me with international money transfer at her workplace. Then 19 Aug I read in the news of her brutal demise.

Some people can be ruthless. It sucks to learn that almost after a year nothing has happened in as far justice is concerned. Let him appear before the courts and be judged accordingly!

I never believed my eyes! May God be with the entire family. This event shall go unforgettable. Only God knows how to deal with the situation.

But for the fact that the case happened in Lilongwe and that judges as well as the prosecutors will not cart home “leaving duty station allowances”, they have little or no intetest to list it for trial. Sadly the same is in Blantyre and Mzuzu. Victims’ families will not any time get closure. For the accused too, they will never get their day in court. Some will… Read more »
