K13.2m raised in TNM Sapota Mapeto promotion as Bullets dominate

Champions Big Bullets have not only shown their supremacy in the TNM Super League, but also in Sapota Mapeto promotion as evidenced by the amount of revenue raised in the promotion.

So far, the promotion has accumulatively raised K13.263,845 with Bullets FC pocketing over K8.5 million from the generated revenue.

Bullest FC are the team with most hits-228,614 and also on course to become the first to hit 300,000 mark whose reward is once off K1.5 million. They only require 72,000 SMS to hit the jackpot.

The People’s Team has been dominating since the promotion was re-launched in June this year.

Likewise, Wanderers have accumulatively generated over K4.4 million, followed by Lilongwe based side Silver Strikers with over K858,000.

The promotion is open to all 15 clubs and the team’s share is determined by the number of SMS sent in the particular month.

During the first month of the promotion, the People’s Team raised K1,474,445 from 39,023 SMSs, Wanderers raised K991,445 from 26,688 SMSs while Silver went away with K169,200 from 3,150 SMSs.

In the second draw, the 2015 champions got over K2.7 million from 78,201 hits, Wanderers K1.429,298 from 40,837 hits and Silver Strikers got K236,819 from 6,766 hits

The third draw saw Bullets FC pocketing K1,479,205 from 42,263 SMSs, Wanderers K796,425 from 22,755 SMSs with Silver Strikers walking away with K156,030 from 4,458 SMSs.

Bullets FC also raised K1,582,900 from the fourth draw. Wanderers and Silver Strikers got K603,250 and K152,350 from 12,065 and 3,047 SMSs, respectively.

And during the 5th draw, conducted on Tuesday, Bullets got away with K1,311,415 from 37,469 SMSs; Wanderers got away with K600,495 from 17,157 SMSs while Silver Strikers came third with 4,122 SMSs, generating revenue of K144,270.

The monthly cash prize of K200,000 went to owner of 0888331415. Effort to break the news to the subscriber proved futile as it could not be reached.

TNM also splashed out 2500 and 5000 recharge vouchers, Flames replica jerseys and Y221 cell phones.

Two fans who will register the highest SMS entries will receive Samsung 40 inch TVs.

“We are yet to give out the K1.5 million, but Bullets are leading the pack and edging closer to 300,000 mark. They just need 72,000 SMSs. Its up to their officials to encourage their followers to send as many SMSs as possible to the hit the mark.

“Likewise, Wanderers can as well do better by engaging extra gear. There is more draw to be conducted likely on 31 December 2015. Fans should take advantage of the remaining month to send as many sms as possible,” said Limbani Nsapato, TNM Sponsorship and Public Relations Manager.
