Malawi Queens have a bad run at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast when they lost their second match...
Just prepare urself to stand as independent other wise ur seat is gone coz of ur stupid conduct and lack of respect for chskwera
Joining any existing party (it be MCP, DPP, PP, UDF, DEPECO, AFORD etc) is signing a death warrant. All parties have to do deep introspection before leading the next-generation Malawi. All parties have to think of changing their genetic code. Atbthe moment it’s all antiquated and backward in nature.
My Brother Dzuka Malawi there are a lot of books on Malawi History not the crap MBC gives us unfortunately some gullible people just parrot. Right now MCP support ers in Mulanje are being beaten up just because of a Ward Council by election. Let s focus on how to deal with such issues not Some Oral Histories which are told every time we are nearing General Election s.Hebry Mussa ,Nicholas Dausi,Hetherwick Ntaba,Bakili Muluzu were in the old MCP. How many people in the current MCP leadership were there? Its MBC which will bring chaos in this country because of propaganda.
Agree with you. Let’s not focus on history other than it’s value to learn from it. Let’s build a different Malawi.
Whilst I agree with you on theneed to understandour history through literature, I am also arguing that we need to be careful which books we read and the perspective the authors are advocating. If you’re reading a story from a “lions/hunter” perspective, youre likely to get a different persepctive from a story written by an “impala/prey”. Most Malawi history was written by the colonizers whilst a few were written by the victims of colonisation.
dear jessie
i love u
What I mean JK is that leaders look at the greater good for the movement. That’s why JZU picked Mpinganjira, Laz picked Richard and hopefully will pick Mia.But no one has the right to stop people joining the party fearing that will grab positions. Mukutiopsa enafe .Respect.
Awids you are watching too much MBCtv.No need for oral history ,as young people we should research and read.If you want summaries just Google. If you google Malawi Cabinet Crisis you will discover that the pro indepence movement had two camps the Radicals Chiume and Chipembere and Moderates Du Chisaza/Chirwa.Both camps took HKB as just a figure head after all he was in his 60s and they were young. The Radicals preached violence against whites and anyone opposed to the movement. Mboni because of their non involvement in politics became enemies too.The moderates looked at thinks soberly Du actually warned against… Read more »
Be careful of what you research and read or get told. There’s so much propaganda out there. Politics is about telling and recording events to suit a particular agenda. Parts of Malawi’s history are just an illusion and therefore requires a deep interrogation before taking untruths as facts. Whilst we can’t change history, we need to focus on our world going forward and shape it the way we all want. A country of abundance that operates as one with its diversity in tribes and culture.
Kabwira you are intelligent but what you need is wisdom, otherwise frustrated people like Msowoya will continue using you.Msowoya once left MCP for DPP where he served as Deputy Minister. He was welcomed back in MCP and even picked as running mate.Remember he was once vice to JZU but was not picked as running mate as JZU opted for Mpinganjira. Mia joins the party koma a Msowoya phuma ngati udindo awalanda kale.So don’t claim that you are defending the constitution…. you are being used by frustrated Richard. Otherwise all the best .
Jesse, Instead of condemning those spreading the rumours, you should be asking why its you being associated with DPP and not any other MCP MP. In so doing, you will realise that you are to blame for the way you have conducted yourself. Yes MCP is not as perfect but again your actions were not meant to build but to destroy and the party will surely not take that. See for yourself, a long story hear in Nyasatimes but not even a mention of your president? My advice is that you burry the past and embrace the party together with… Read more »
Ms Kabwila appears pathetic, as she sits there, with her “Tambala Wakuda” badge on her lapel, advocating for a Party that has made it VERY clear that it does NOT want her. There’s no chance of her being elected to stand for MCP in her area, or winning as an Independent candidate. And, any other Party, except perhaps the few “briefcase” parties, would be crazy to adopt her. DPP is the most unlikely destination for her: They do NOT want her AND should NOT want her. She is NO Kaliati – possibly the best retail politician at this time in… Read more »
DPP is already dying natural death like UDF and PP.
