Atumbuka wanted all parliament staff to be from Nyika. Fiona, if they give you shit, kick them out of parliament corridors, becasue this is what these people do, deliberate sabotage.

I think it is good to see a woman holding this position but I also believe that it should not be up to the President to decide who holds this position but it should be the role of the Speaker of the National Assembly – possibly with an affirmative vote from the National Assembly – to appoint the Clerk of Parliament. Is there any reason why the legislative chamber’s independence in this matter has not been upheld?

Now a days, I am convinced that no appointed person can delivery, as long the appointing person is still power.
