Lets be honest people, Kaliati has “stolen” the show with her “chiguduli” just because she is famous and popular. Imagine a poor soul in Machinga, Nsanje or Likoma seen wearing a chiguduli, would it be viewed as fashion or poverty??? Lets not pretend, unless Kaliati puts on this chiguduli outfit now and again, it will remain just that – a show-off during the Mulhakho ceremony!

Politically, we are not on the same boat. But one thing is clear. Hon Kaliati is a political genius. Nobody can afford to hate this woman. Excellent politician!

All the reporter has focused on is what was happening at the function and what basically was eye catching, wrapping it up by mentioning that following the fundraising the actual function will be held in Luchenza with dates provided.
