The guy who was opening the press conference made a few blunders on protocol and order of precedence, you cannot name some ministers by name and group all others as cabinet ministers it’s either they all go down as “all cabinet ministers present” or you point them out 1 by 1. He also put a ps ahead of a minister which again is wrong so the whole thing was amateurish in my opinion.

You dont understand protocol. What the MC did was correct as approved by APM. We all know that there is a rift and Kaliyati has joined Chilimas camp so has General Supuni Phiri. Some of the story about APM being sick came from Pilirani Phiri to Zofiak on behalf of SC. APM knows all this. Where is it said that when you are VP then you will take over when the president quits politics? Why is Joe Biden of USA not the presidential candidate for the Democrats? What about Magufuli. Sensational indeed. “The President recognised all cabinet ministers present and that included me.” Very good response. Actually this thing of mentioning every person is old fashioned.
