Kinnah Phiri is the coach of FS STARS and if he loses 3 games frm now he will lose the job, already Mr Mokoena is in talks with 3 white coaches who are recycled 4 times. Kinnah pull up your socks b4 it’s too late.

Calling Nyondo a star is acceptable by Malawian standards, but at the moment,I don’t see any Malawian player worth being called a star.Football in Malawi has produced players especially in this current generation, who are very inconsistent in performance and who fail to attract attention of international scouts;therefore it is hard to produce stars out of such production. How can a nation expect to emerge with a strong national team with players who can’t even command regular places(with the exception of N’gambi and Nyondo) in a league that hardly has teams that win continental championships in mother Africa? Something must be done to… Read more »

Its only a draw not a win to worst so much words on. Having 19 points from 18 games is so embarrassing so don’t brag as if he has made a great achievement. Instead lets encourage him

The writer of this article has got it very wrong. The coach of Free State State Stars is the Belgian Tom Saintfiet who once coached the Malawi National Team. If Kinna Phiri was still Malawi national coach, the Flames could have been in the Brazil world cup as well as well as the just ended 2015 Africa cup of nation. But because he is a northerner that is why he is in South Africa today. All because of nepotism. Serious Malawi is going nowhere. So southerners stay racist while Kinnah is earning South Africa Rands every month until the end of his contract.
