I would much rather get objective and analyse exactly why this happened and then take measures so that it does not happen again. Let me take this opportunity to point out to fellow Malawians: Corruption is our problem, we practice it! we perpetuate it! Then when the consequences of corruption start affecting us we blame the president!!! As long as we live in denial we will never sort our country out! It seems we still do not understand term “first impressions last” Airports are window to how we do things in this nation. It can be a turn off for a man who is loaded and wanted to invest but simply changes his mind when he sees the mediocrity at our airports that look like unused football pitches. The staff are not helpful eitherl and when you land at these airports it’s almost like landing in a deserted neighbourhood. And the problem with Monday coaches like the Nasazi (sorry I don’t like foreign/ colonial names) is that they’d only want to be visible when somebody has failed, I don’t like this development and I don’t like blame games too!!
Let’s wait and see, a whole New Plane will be sold to repair this airport roof!!
